Business Technology Source Moving to New Offices

Sheperdstown, WV – July 8, 2005 -Business Technology Source (BTS) announced today that they will be moving into new offices on July 18, 2005. The new headquarters will be located on the second floor of the Independent Building at 129 West German Street in Shepherdstown, giving BTS more room and the opportunity to expand its staff. 

BTS has several new projects this summer that will necessitate hiring new staff. New projects include Phase II of an SBIR grant with Emerald Events/Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Center to continue work on the organization’s distance learning platform, which allows ophthalmic technicians to take required continuing education classes online, saving travel time and expenses.

BTS continues to work on a distance learning platform for San Francisco State University, which is being used to test deaf children in their proficiency with American Sign Language (ASL).

BNA Software, a subsidiary of the Bureau of National Affairs in Washington, DC has hired BTS to act as a consultant for several large clients that are migrating to BNA Software’s financial assets application. BTS will be handling the data migration for these companies.

Also, BTS recently added E-Commerce to the Contemporary American Theater Festival’s website, making it possible for the organization to sell tickets directly to theater-goers.
